‘The X Factor’ notes: Alex & Sierra’s tour; Fifth Harmon’s chart position

Alex & Sierra’s tour – Want to know just where the duo from this past season is going to be performing later this summer? Well, they have just officially unveiled what their roster of shows is going to be. This tour, which will be for the most part with Train or Colbie Caillat, begins on August 21, and then runs right through near the end of September. Take a look at the dates below.

  • Sept. 1 – Portsmouth, N.H., The Music Hall
  • Sept. 2 – Ridgefield, Conn.,Ridgefield Playhouse
  • Sept. 3 – Huntington, N.Y., The Paramount
  • Sept. 7 – Vienna, Va., Filene Center At Wolf Trap
  • Sept. 9 – Ashland, Ky., Paramount Arts Center
  • Sept. 17 – Los Angeles, Calif., Pantages Theatre
  • Sept. 19 – Reno, Nev., Grand Sierra Resort & Casino
  • Sept. 20 – Santa Rosa, Calif., Wells Fargo Center For The Arts
  • Sept. 21 – Modesto, Calif., Gallo Center For The Arts
  • Sept. 22 – San Francisco, Calif., Masonic Center
  • Sept. 23 – Arcata, Calif., John Van Duzer Theatre
  • Sept. 25 – New York, N.Y., Radio City Music Hall
  • Sept. 26 – Thousand Oaks, Calif., Fred Kavli Theatre
  • Sept. 28 – San Diego, Calif., Humphrey’s Concerts By The Bay

Per Pollstar, the duo appears with Karmin on August 21, with Colbie Aug. 27 – Sept. 9, in addition to Sept. 19, 21, 23 and 26-28, and then Train on September 17, 22, and 25. It’s a little bit of a hodgepodge of artists, but there’s some valuable experience in there!

Fifth Harmony’s “Bo$$” on the charts – For those who follow this sort of thing, you will be pleased to know that the just-mentioned new single for the girl group debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 this week at #43. This is their highest position on the chart to date; “Miss Movin’ On” is the only other track to appear to date, and it reached a peak position of #76.

Who knows? Depending on if radio decides that they like this song, the track could go even higher.
