‘Hell on Wheels’ season 4 video: Anson Mount, cast preview story ahead
After receiving a few isolated teasers on “Hell on Wheels” over the past two weeks, isn’t it nice to have something a little more substantial to sink your teeth into? The video below is by far the biggest and best for the show to date, given that you have Anson Mount and many of the other cast members / producers all sitting down to discuss a little of what you can expect to see on the new season.
The first thing that Mount brings you back to in this video is one simple word which, at least for him, summarizes almost the entire series: Ambition. Cullen Bohannon’s always had it, but this season features him in the most complicated place that he has ever been. He wants to do right by this new family that he has, but he’s also still the same guy that we’ve seen on the show for many years. He cannot just turn off that switch in the blink of an eye.
As for some other characters…
- Expect see Durant go back to some of his old ways, while Cullen is going in a slightly different direction.
- Jake Weber’s character is playing the first “Governor” of Wyoming, and there are some serious psychopathic tendencies with the guy.
- One of the overall themes that the show wants to bring to the table this year is the continued impact on technology and big government on the west, which is where people have established this sense of rogue freedom over the years.
What’s your take on this extended preview for the new season: Do you love it, or is there something more you want to see? Share your thoughts now, and head over here if you’ve got a special hankering to see even more video footage of season 4 now.

I would love to comment and am waiting for this next series, but Australians aren’t getting much of a look at anything at this stage. Which is not really very fair.
Not impressed
