ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: Filming officially begins for Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion, cast
“Castle” fans, the wait for this milestone is finally over. Filming has officially kicked off for the seventh season of the show in the Los Angeles area, and you can start to imagine the show being back on the air again.
For the time being, we cannot confirm what scenes have been shot and what has not, but that is not really the purpose of this site anyway. Since we have no interest in wanting to give away what Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion are up to, we won’t be sharing any set photos or anything of the like. There is going to be plenty of other good stuff to share in the weeks ahead without resorting to that.
What we do know, courtesy of what showrunner David Amann and creator Andrew W. Marlowe said earlier this week, is that there is a plan to introduce a new “mythology” to the show through what happened to Castle. With Senator Bracken gone, this is certainly important so that there is a new villain or two out there (if it’s not 3XK behind this). Let’s just hope that it’s worth the wait and the controversial cliffhanger.
The only bit of “bad” news that we’ve had for the show this week is simply that you are going to be waiting a little bit longer than you usually would. Typically, the show starts on the first Monday of the fall season, but thanks to the network’s attempts at launching their new series “Forever” after “Dancing with the Stars,” you’re going to have to wait instead until September 29 (the second week) to see what happens with Rick next.
We’ll have some more concrete updates on the future of “Castle” moving forward, so just stay tuned for more good stuff and celebrate the start of filming! Also, you can sign up now to grab some further TV scoop on all we cover via our newsletter.
