‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 8 preview: First look at ‘An Affair to Surrender’

Can you believe that we are over halfway through this season of “Mistresses” already? This show is getting progressive more and more complicated, and this is going to very much carry into the episode next week entitled “An Affair to Surrender.” Quite a bit will be going on, and we just have to wonder if the show can wrap up things this season while still building into the next one (if there is a next one) in the coming weeks. This is something that was a struggle between seasons 1 and 2.

The episode airing next week is entitled “An Affair to Surrender,” and based on the synopsis below, there will in particular be some dramatic stuff coming for all of the characters. Take a look below:

“The four best girlfriends come together to help Savi say goodbye to her beloved house. Meanwhile, April realizes the world of being a mistress collides with her role as a mother. A scheming Joss finds a way to keep Harry from returning to Australia when she meets a celebrity supermodel, and Karen is faced with a soul-crushing dilemma concerning her lover, Jacob and her client, Anna.”

We anticipate there being quite a bit of drama ahead on all fronts, and for the most part, this does excite us. The only thing that has us nervous is if any of this is going to be enough to really get the buzz going about the show. While things have improved somewhat since the premiere, it is still below the level of the show’s first season.
