‘Royal Pains’ season 6, episode 6 preview: Hanks learns about text lingo

Sometimes, you would think that Hank Lawson is a 70-year old grandfather with the way that he acts around technology, business, or almost anything else that is not classified as in his wheelhouse.

The latest example of that can be seen in the promo below for Tuesday night’s “Royal Pains” episode entitled “Everybody Loves Ray, Man,” which fittingly sounds almost like what a grandfather would say while thinking he is saying the name of the old Ray Romano show. This is an episode that looks like a ton of fun, and it starts with Hank having to take a few seconds to process that “LOL” actually does stand for “laugh out loud,” even though we are pretty sure that we knew this all the way back in the year 2000.

As for the rest of the episode, you can expect to see a whole lot more of this Ray character. He first came on the scene last week as he helped to get Paige and Russell out of trouble with their jobs, and he also now may be the key to HankMed’s future. Who knew that a man suspected by some of having mob ties could be such an asset? If nothing else, he seems like a fun character, and one that we are pretty happy is going to be around for a little while.

So what about Divya and Jeremiah? While we have admittedly not been the biggest fan of either of their stories lately, we are already knee-deep in them. They have to be addressed eventually, or otherwise the entire arc of the season will make little sense.

We’ll have some more news soon on what lies ahead for the show, so stay tuned!
