‘Under the Dome’ season 2, episode 3 preview: It’s raining … blood?
On CBS Monday night, “Under the Dome” will be back with another new episode, this time entitled “Force Majeure.” If you haven’t heard the meaning of this phrase yet, it basically translated to mean circumstances that are beyond someone’s control.
On this particular episode, let’s just say that there are plenty of circumstances and events that are going to arise that nobody predicts … including the possibility of it raining blood. Whether or not that is actually blood is something that will be explored in this episode, as will the investigation into Chester’s Mill and its water supply. They have to figure out a way to keep surviving in this town, and for the time being, that is not an easy thing to do.
As for the other sneak peek below, think along the lines of Big Jim being Big Jim; namely, he’s creeping the heck out of everyone, scheming, and making plans. There is nothing on this show that Dean Norris does better than all of this.
By the end of this episode, we’re hopefully going to do away with some of these “struggles in Chester’s Mill” storylines. We haven’t really felt that the show has picked up the momentum it needs just yet in order to be the big great show, especially with the ratings starting to slide a little bit. We feel like the numbers right now are enough for it to get a third season, but these sort of shows tend to typically slide a little bit more as the summer goes on.
