‘Falling Skies’ season 4, episode 4 preview: The threat close to home
Leave it to the gang over at “Falling Skies” to try and make a promo as dramatic as possible. It’s like the narrator for TNT is ultimately getting paid to make you jump right out of your chair.
If you look below at what is coming up Sunday night, the biggest takeaway seems to be that the show wants you to be completely terrified at the thoughts of the biggest threat for the 2nd Mass being something close to home, and not even necessarily any of the alien races that are around them. If this is the case, doesn’t Lexi rise to the top of the list of potential threats? There are so many different reasons to think so right now. She is someone that everyone would want to inherently trust, if for no other reason than that she is family. This all in a way helps to mask what are all of her problems, primarily the simple one that she is not entire human. She has a connection to no one understands, and they can only hope to.
Who knows? Maybe Sunday’s episode is the one where all of this information will start to finally come to a head, and Tom and Anne will start to figure out now how they are to survive in this new world. The last thing that we know we want is for the show to drag out these answers into the second half of the season; we want to understand Lexi now, and then spend the second half of the season trying to understand what to do with some of this information.
