’24: Live Another Day’ finale spoilers: A look at Yvonne Strahovski (and the future)

Given that Monday night marks the finale for “24: Live Another Day,” and also potentially the entire Fox series as a whole, you really cannot be that surprised at all that Fox is trying to keep things under wraps in terms of what could be coming up next.

The biggest thing that we do know right now? That the finale is going to most-likely be a chaotic one, and that Kate Morgan still has a significant role to play in it. The photo above featuring Yvonne Strahovski and Gbenga Akinnagbe (Erik Ritter) is one of the few that has been released by Fox right now, and it screams “intensity.” After all, these two plus Jack Bauer are going to have their hands full when it comes to all of the following:

• Trying to stop Cheng Zhi from his own nefarious plans … and from killing Audrey Boudreau.
• Keeping a World War III with China from happening … no easy task.
• Trying to clean up the mess with the Russians that happened on this past episode.

Previously in this series, we wondered whether or not Fox could consider going a new route with “24,” and eventually creating a show just around the Kate character giving her popularity, and Strahovski’s proven ability to kick butt and take names. However, we’ve since come to think that Jack is so iconic to this show right now, we have a hard time seeing it without Kiefer Sutherland. Personally, we’d love to see both characters back in the event that there is one more go-around for the series after this great one.
