‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Is Devin playing in the Power of Veto?
It’s not often that the selection of Veto Players in the “Big Brother” house is just as important as the Veto Competition itself, but that is truly the case today. If Devin is not selected for the competition, it almost does not matter at all who wins. Anyone can be convinced to play it, and then Devin will be backdoored and he will be going home.
Well … it’s not going to be that easy for the rest of the house. In what was a stroke of luck (and not production rigging it for drama, so stop those stupid conspiracy theories now), Devin was picked to play in the Veto. Also, it seems like some of the other choices may be favorable to him. Donny doesn’t strike us as the player who is going to go out of his way to win this when he doesn’t have to (though he does have motivation to get Devin out after week 1), and while Christine would be a hero if she wins it, it would also let the other players know that she is a threat.
If nothing else, there is a good three-person showdown here at the top. Derrick we’ve come to know as someone who is capable of winning competitions, given that he is HoH and he also came close to winning the last Veto. Meanwhile, Caleb is also a beast, and could be motivated since if Devin wins the power, he may suddenly be in a position where people could vote him out.
As for Jocasta, it’s possible that she may not even take part in the competition as a nominee at all after falling ill last night due to exhaustion and dehydration. Her not playing would be very bad news for her in terms of maybe going home, but she’ll have to rely on her social game and probably would, anyway. We didn’t see her winning this competition in the first place.
We’ll have the results of the competition later, and also whether or not this Team America plan to make Zach out to be Amanda’s cousin does anything at all. right now, it just seems kind of annoying and unfair to Zach, since it’s an outside influence potentially impacting his game.
