‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Dot-Marie Jones will return as Coach Beiste
Outside of the original cast members on “Glee,” there have been quite a few questions in regards to who could be coming back for more. Luckily, we’re going to be able to answer to one of these now.
In a new post on Twitter, Dot-Marie Jones confirmed that she will be back for some more story moving forward on the sixth season. As for how much story this will necessarily be, that is for the time being a little bit more up in the air.
At least we have a feeling that there will be quite a bit for Coach Beiste to do, given the talk that the show is shifting back to McKinley High in Ohio, and hopefully putting the focus back more on the arts education angle that really made it stand out the first two seasons of the show in the first place. We never really doubted that Jones would get an invite, mostly because of the fact that she is not only awesome, but she’s got Emmy nominations to show for her hard work. Now if there is only a way for her and Mark Salling to have a chance to do some more scenes together, we’ll be in as close to “Glee” heaven as there is at this point.
Also, we really hope that Jones finds herself a new full-time role after her time here wraps. She is one of those people who worked really hard to get to where she is, and she certainly deserves the chance to do more.
