‘The Bridge’ season 2, episode 2 preview: First look at ‘Ghost of a Plea’
Tonight, “The Bridge” kicked off season 2 and took us in a million different directions. Sonya Cross got close to one of the worst possible people (Jack Dobbs, the brother of the man who killed her sister), we witnessed Famke Janssen order a guy’s ear get cut off, and Daniel Frye had a rather surprising encounter with a man with no name. There were many interesting threads, but there’s no word as to how they will all tie up just yet.
What we can at least tell you now about next week’s episode is this. The title for it is “Ghost of a Flea,” and we’ll start to see things accelerate in a way that brings Marco and Sonya back together again. Also, Frye will follow up on what we saw from him tonight. For more, just check out the official synopsis:
“A bizarre killing attracts attention on both sides of the border. Frye & Adriana find more than they bargained for with their first lead. Eleanor enlists the help of a young boy.”
The biggest thing that this show needs at some point in the near future is unity. The first season did not quite have it, fantastic as it was; meanwhile, season 2 is so far a little all over the place. Sooner or later, it is important that we find out what everything means. Otherwise, we’re going to feel just as lost as those working the case most of the season.
