ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4: A look inside the ‘writers room’
The writers room for “Scandal” season 4 has been a little bit unorthodox so far. Namely, they’ve been having to travel a little bit all over to place to keep work going strong.
The photo below came courtesy of Shonda Rhimes’ personal WhoSay page, and it features the team working in what should be a very familiar place in the walls of Olivia Pope and Associates. The team should be pretty far along in at least devising a plan for the first chunk of the season, especially since the show will be filming not too far into the future. Kerry Washington and the cast will be back, and we’ll finally get a chance to have answers to many of our favorite questions:
- Is Olivia going to come back in the same state that she left?
- What is her relationship with Jake like now?
- Has Fitz fully recovered yet from the death of a child, or were he ever feel that way?
- What happens next for Quinn and Huck after the insanity that has unfolded there?
- Finally, what happens in the White House now that the election is over, and there is no longer a fear of not getting re-elected? Fitz isn’t going to change the Constitution just so that he can stay in power.
The new season of “Scandal” is going to premiere either in late September or early October; ABC is one of the few networks who has yet to actually confirm the premiere dates for the majority of their fall shows, but we expect that they will do pretty soon just for the sake of promoting them properly.
