‘Community’ season 6: While you wait, watch Joel McHale spoof Jerry Seinfeld
If there has been a web property out there over the past few years completely ripe and worthy of parody, it has been Jerry Seinfeld’s web series “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.” While we find it funny and fascinating at times, the entire show does have a pretentious air to it courtesy of all the fancy cars and the way that it is shot.
Therefore, we are now introduced to none other than “Comedians in Cars Getting Cocaine,” which is pretty much what you would expect it to be. This video was created by “The Soup,” and features star Joel McHale teaming up with “Veep’s” own Tony Hale to talk all about his work, “Arrested Development,” and also his love for a certain white demon. There is a pretty big twist that comes a little late in the video, and that is a little too funny for us to ruin right now.
For all of you “Community” fans out there, maybe think of this video as a prelude to some of the insanity that you are almost sure to see when that show arrives on Yahoo! whenever it is that it premieres. We would assume that the sixth season would film later this year, that may it allows for the cast to go and do some other things, and potentially look at their future depending on whether or not they will be at a point where they will need to sign on to a new contract in order to continue. McHale was rumored at one point to be the new host for “The Late Late Show,” but little came from that chatter in the end.
