‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4: See Scott Porter, Cress Williams back at work

For most TV shows out there, the casts are currently soaking in some of the last bit of summer sunshine before they return to their sets to start off filming another season. However, the “Hart of Dixie” crew is already back at it.

So why the early start this year? It has something to do with Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy, and that the show wants to ensure that she is available for every episode of the series’ abbreviated fourth season. Thanks to this, we’re already underway, and we have a pretty fun picture for you below of Scott Porter (George) and Cress Williams (Lavon) seemingly getting their firefighter on. You may have already heard a thing or two about the BlueBell volunteer fire department getting involved in the story this season, and this is proof of that. (As you can see below, this photo was first posted on the Instagram of Jaime King.)

So what do we want to see become of this story? If we were to put our speculation cap on, we would pine that this means the two guys are going to be joining the fire department in another way to compete over Lemon. We want this just because Porter and Williams have great chemistry together, and since love is such a big theme of the show, we always enjoy it when it comes with some complications and strings attached.

As for when you’ll be able to see all of this good stuff air on The CW, you may be waiting for a while. “Hart of Dixie” was not a part of the network’s fall schedule, and there is no sign when it will air for sure. Our guess is early 2014, but time will tell.
