What is coming up on “Rizzoli & Isles” near the end of this summer season? According to a new report from TVLine, “Battlestar Galactica” alum Jamie Baber has signed on to appear in the TNT drama’s summer finale and also the upcoming winter premiere in the role of Paul Wescourt. He is a successful prosecutor, and that in itself suggests that he would have a superior knowledge of the law and also an understanding that he should probably due his best to avoid doing anything suspicious. However, it is not that long after that when you learn that he is accused of killing his mistress. Not exactly the prosecutor you want to emulate your career after.

We understand why this case would be fitting of a multiple-episode arc, given that you have a character who clearly has a certain level of corruption to him regardless of whether or not he is guilty of the crime, and yet he has a job that requires you to have the utmost in moral standards. This sort of complexity is something that the show tends to often explore well in its cases.

This arc will cap what is sure to be a fascination summer still to come; we have already experienced tragedy in the form of the Lee thompson Young tribute, and what is coming next is everything from personal stories (Jane’s life in particular) to some other mysteries that will make you think.
