‘Graceland’ season 2, episode 4 preview: ‘Magic Numbers,’ and the bus job
“Graceland” is certainly a show that has made a name for itself off of being intense, and this is something that we’re going to see a whole lot more of in “Magic Numbers.”
Before that happens, though, you better be prepared to wait for a little while. Thanks in part to the 4th of July holiday falling two days later, USA has opted for not airing new episodes next week. Given the ratings for this show, which have been okay but could be better, this is probably the right move. You want to give your show the best opportunity you can to succeed, and you just have to hope that this will be worth the show having to take a brief hiatus to make it happen.
As for what you can expect in terms of a story, this will be all about the attempts of the team, potentially led here by Jakes, to stop a cartel from transmitting drugs across a series of buses. Our concern here mostly is that this guy doesn’t have his head in the right place right now, and we don’t blame him after what happened to his son. He’s a strong, motivated guy most of the time, but everyone has their breaking point.
For some further insight in addition to the promo below, check out USA’s synopsis for the hour:
“Briggs and Charlie engage in risky behavior to atone for past misdeeds. Jakes uses his own secrets to sell his undercover at a garage. A night of clubbing with Carlito forces Tuturro to examine how far he’ll go for a case.”
