‘Falling Skies’ season 4, episode 2 preview: ‘The Eye,’ and Lexi’s prophecy

Are you excited about what lies ahead on “Falling Skies”? Sunday night’s new episode carries with it the title of “The Eye,” and it is also going to raise quite a few questions about the newest member of the show family in Lexi. For example, can she really be trusted? Even though she may be a descendant of two of the people in Tom and Anne who we have come to know does not mean that she is altogether reliable.

In the sneak peek below, though, she is someone who is going to try and help navigate the humans towards their best survival … which we imagine is going to be incredible difficult to do. This is made even harder by the overall theme of the season, which is separation and longing. Many of our characters are distanced from each other now, and without that support system, it makes trying to figure out some of the right and wrong things to do all the more difficult.

Whatever is said in this episode, whether it be from Lexi or someone else, still does not have to be gospel by any means. After all, this is only the second episode of the season! Things change in this world, and it feels like this season, they will actually change quickly. This already feels more like a sci-fi / space adventure story, and that is admittedly what we were wanting it to be from the very beginning.
