NBC’s ‘The Voice’ notes: Highlights from Tessanne Chin, Jacquie Lee, Josh Kaufman

“The Voice” is off the right right now, and will be until near the end of September. However, why not sit back and enjoy some videos now of some of the show’s most-popular contestants?

We’ll start with a reminder that all three of these artists featured in here (Tessanne Chin, Josh Kaufman, and Jacquie Lee) are featured on the tour for the show, which is happening right now in venues across the country. As a matter of fact, once concert-goer put up a performance of “Stay” between Josh and Tessanne online. It sounds pretty lovely in video form, but don’t you think that it would sound so much better there live? We’re betting on it.

Speaking of Tessanne, why not preview some of the songs from her new album “Count on My Love”? That is what the video we’ve got for below (via Mjsbigblog for the find) is about. This album is going to be put in just a few days on July 1, so this really is a teaser of great things to come. You hear all of her various influences throughout here, from some of the soul to a little bit of reggae and pop.

Finally, let’s head over to Jacquie, who recently posted a cover of a song that Josh ironically found a huge following for on the show: Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.” Josh’s performance may have actually been a factor in helping the song become a huge hit in America, and it’s now all over the radio. Jacquie has a strong version of it, as well, and we feel like so long as you really work to get the emotion right when performing this song, the odds are in your favor you will succeed.
