’24: Live Another Day’ episode 10 video: Jack chases after Chloe

 We’ve wondered ever since the last episode of “24: Live Another Day” as to whether or not Chloe would ever consider betraying Jack, but for the time being, an equally important question may just be whether or not he can protect her.

The sneak peek below is typical Jack in every way, though it also feels like one of those old-school dramas watching someone get on a train and then speed away in the other direction. While Mr. Bauer may be many things, he cannot stop a train with his bare hands. therefore, there is nothing else that he can do in the video other than watch Chloe go in the other direction, and also wonder what this may end up meaning for him in the long-term.

Could someone like Chloe actually die at this point? Given where we are in “24” right now, we may have to go ahead and say that it would be among the biggest shockers in the history of the franchise, and that is really saying something. We cannot see it happening, mostly because we have a hard time thinking that the writers would do this unless they knew that this was the final season of the show. The ratings may dictate that, but we don’t think this is the feeling the team was operating under as they crafted these final few hours. (Then again, we could be wrong.)

This video also contains one of the most random cameos of all time, as one of the people that Jack pushes out of the way while heading for the train is none other than Cheryl Hickey, the host of “ET Canada.”
