‘Switched at Birth’ season 3 spoilers: An emotional episode lies ahead

While we feel like watching television live is something that should almost always be encouraged, there are a few times when we say that it is necessary in order avoid being completely spoiled. The new episode of “Switched at Birth” airing on Monday, July 14 is one of them. This is an episode that may surprise you, and it also may cause you to tear up if you have become deeply attached emotionally to some of these characters.

This episode definitely has an emotional title to it in “The Image Disappears,” and that should be enough to make you a little worried. Also notable here is the vagueness of the synopsis below. Typically, these are both a little longer and a little more detailed, but this one was clearly designed for a very specific purpose:

“The Kennish and Vasquez families rally to support a loved one who is in critical condition. Amid the emotion, blame is placed, decisions must be made and lives are forever changed.”

For those wondering whether or not there will be ample time to address the aftermath of whatever happens, there will be. The show still has a lot of run left this season, and hopefully whatever happens here is something that the characters can work through. Sometimes, though, lives have that defining moment that you look back on as what changes your world forever. In the case of this show, the scenes that happen in this episode may serve as a catalyst.
