‘Suits’ season 4, episode 4 promo: Does Mike really have ‘no other choice’?

Last night, we told you the sad-for-many news that “Suits,” thanks by and large to the 4th of July holiday, is going to be off of the air next week. However, it will return on July 9, and it turns out that all of this waiting is going to make things even more intense for Mike and Harvey. (Yeah, we know they’re not actually waiting another week. Just got with it.)

The video below basically has one central theme, and that is “everyone is angry at Mike.” Donna feels betrayed by him, Harvey is ready for war, and Rachel feels like he is almost deliberately hurting everyone when he doesn’t have to. And to think, all of this is probably tied to Walter Gillis and Logan Sanders.

Is Mike not responding too well to the fact that Rachel basically begged Logan to go easy on Mike as a favor? We’re sure that is part of it, along with ego and of course his own personal desire to win. Mike has always been an ambitious guy, just as he has also been a guy who fails to see the big picture from time to time and makes things harder than he really has to.

So far, this has been a little more of an elusive season of “Suits” than season 3, which to us had a more defined plot and also plenty of Michelle Fairley after her time on “Game of Thrones.” That is not a slam against season 4 at all, though; most of the storytelling is crisp, and we especially enjoy the latest round of mind-games happening at the expense of Louis Litt. Really, almost anything involving Litt is enjoyable.
