TV Quick Hits: Pippa Middleton on ‘Today,’ ‘The Killing’ season 4 photo, ‘Daredevil’ news
Today’s TV Quick Hits contains quite a bit of information for the Netflix crowd, but we begin here with what is going to be one of the biggest interviews to hit “The Today Show” in some time.
A peek at the Pippa Middleton interview – The chat between Pippa and Matt Lauer is set to happen on Monday and Tuesday of next week, but the preview video below gives you at least a tiny idea of what to expect. We do understand to a certain extent the polarizing feelings surrounding Pippa as a celebrity icon; he get that she is not really famous for much other than her sister, and there was all that controversy surrounding her at the Royal Wedding.
With this being said, we do also feel like there is something to be said for being the target of public curiosity, and wondering what life must be like for a young woman whose sister is one of the most powerful people in all of Great Britain. What do you work on, and how do you live your life? You’ll probably get some answers, but likely not all.
Preview “The Killing” season 4 – Want to get a quick look at the upcoming season? The photo below gives you a quick look at Joan Allen, who will be one of the major characters as a headmaster at a military academy for boys that becomes the center of an investigation.
The show moved from AMC to Netflix for its six-episode final season, which we hope is a nice continuation to the excellent and underrated season 3. “The Killing” will start streaming on August 1.
“Daredevil” casting – Marvel announced today that for their upcoming adaptation of the comic, Elden Henson is going to play the part of Foggy Nelson, the best friend of Matt Murdock. This is a character who also has aspirations for doing good, but without the crazy powers and improved senses.
Charlie Cox of “Boardwalk Empire” has already been cast to play the hero.
