‘Mistresses’ season 2 spoilers: Savi’s father to cause major trouble

“Mistresses” does love to stir up plenty of drama, but typically you see most of it come from the romantic angle. Isn’t it hard to expect anything else when you consider the title for the show?

However, you do have to get ready for some big family problems ahead for Alyssa Milano’s character of Savi, just in case life was not bad enough for her already in between losing the pregnancy and things with Dom. The arrival of her father later this season will cause a major revelation for her, as she starts to realize for the first time that he may have been the real person to blame for so many of her problems growing up.

Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer KJ Steinberg explained a little of what Savi will be going through:

“Savi pretty much blames her mom for all the things she could blame a parent for … [Her dad showing up is a] wakeup call … Up until the moment where she confronts her father, [he] can do no wrong. But we will learn just how wrong he can do.”

While we hope that this is an interesting story without a doubt, we also hope that this is one that is reasonably short-lived. The last thing that we want to do is be in a situation where this starts to overtake the majority of the other juicy storylines that will be taking place on the show moving forward.
