’24: Live Another Day’ spoilers: Could Chloe really turn against Jack?

The past two episodes of “24: Live Another Day” have been ripe with surprises pretty much from start to finish, whether you talk about President Heller “dying,” President Heller not dying, and then Jack Bauer basically doing a “this is Sparta” moment with Margot Al-Harazi.

Thanks to all of this, the impact of Chloe and Adrian getting closer (to put it mildly) is probably a little more overshadowed than it would otherwise be. Could this mean the end of her and Jack working together? A shift between these two would at this point possibly be the most shocking thing to happen, mostly because of the history that is there.

Luckily, don’t take Chloe’s actions yet as a definite shift against Jack; this is a fluid situation, and things can change. Just take a look at what executive producer Manny Coto said to TV Guide:

“Adrian and Chloe have a bond, and that bond is now going to be tested … Chloe’s going to come to a position where she must choose between her loyalty to Adrian and her loyalty to Jack. What side she comes out on will be part of the fun of the episode.”

The way this quote sounds suggests that we will not have to wait long for answers, and we are certainly down for that. Then again, there really is not that much time left for waiting. The future of the franchise beyond this season is in doubt, so we have to wait and see what the writers come up with.
