‘Big Brother 16’ houseguest spotlight: Zach Rance brings the ‘Zach Attack’

Zach -Zach Rance is completely insane, but he may also be the “Big Brother 16” player that you have been waiting to see. We have been cycling through all of the houseguests in our spotlight series waiting for the villain to emerge, and we may have just found him in our very last article before we make our predictions.

Zach is the sort of guy who will drive you crazy with his ego. He may also drive you crazy in general. He wants to be notorious and wants to stir up drama in the house, but unfortunately for him, he may also be showing his hand a little bit more than he absolutely needs to.

Name – Zach Rance

Age – 23

Location – Palm Beach, Florida

Occupation – He doesn’t have one, like so many other recent college graduates

Strengths – He seems to know the game, and in a season full of sheep who seem interested mostly in going on here and then doing nightclub gigs around the country, he may be able to manipulate most of him. He is aggressive, sharp, and unafraid to tick people off. He may actually do a good enough job of making people feel afraid of him to the point where they don’t want to target him.

Weaknesses – Arrogance, and the possibility that he won’t back that arrogance up. There are occasionally contestants on “Big Brother” (Brian, Ronnie, Willie Hantz) who come in hoping to be the next big thing, only to burn out quickly when they realize that not everyone is going to bend to their will. He may think a little too highly of himself for never playing the game before.

Past houseguest comparison – We don’t really think his own comparison to Mike Boogie is that far off, given that Boogie’s biggest skill in the game was intimidation. Zach has the potential to be like him or Dr. Will, and he’s at least in the vein of players like them, Alec and Peter from “Big Brother Canada,” or Matt from season 12.

Prediction – Our heart wants to see Zach make it far so that this season remains insane, but our head warns us about saying this. We feel like he will survive for a while thanks to the house being mostly newbies who will not be up to speed about what he is doing, but the other players will catch on during the merge. It’s very difficult for a player this aggressive to win, though we know that Boogie did pull it off in All-Stars against a group of other aggressive people.
