‘Big Brother 16’ houseguest spotlight: Will Victoria Rafaeli really manipulate anyone?

Victoria Rafaeli is one of the more interesting houseguests this “Big Brother” season, at least in that she reminds us in many ways of a female Captain Kosher. She is extremely religious, to the point where this may have an impact on her time in the house. At the same time, though, she has certain qualities of some of the younger female houseguests who been on this show over the years.

Do we feel like Victoria is going to be a good player? We have a hard time really seeing that, and it is for a series of reasons that we’re going to get into below.

Name – Victoria Rafaeli

Age – 22

Location – Miami, Florida

Occupation – Photographer

Strengths – Namely, that she seems to be the sort of person who is going to be able to rely on perception to get far. She will most likely try to play herself up as a sheltered, inexperienced young woman who needs to be cared for. She will probably form an alliance early with someone (probably a strong guy), and then go with that for a few weeks. She won’t be viewed as a major competition threat, so that helps.

Weaknesses – There is just something about Victoria that makes her feel somewhat entitled, and probably thinks very highly of herself in comparison to others. It would not surprise us if she irks other houseguests by being lazy, and expecting them to do things for her when they in reality have no interest lending a hand. While her religion may lead to a few interesting conversations, we cannot see her forging an alliance with anyone.

Past houseguest comparison – We already mentioned Captain Kosher when it comes to how her religion will impact the game, but also maybe a little bit of Porsche from season 13 or Monet from season 11. Both of them struggled at times to get along with everyone, but one of them did make it all the way to the final two.

Prediction – We can’t see Victoria going too far in the game. She may be, like Paola, someone who goes home early because it is an easy boot that won’t ruffle any feathers. She’ll be lucky to last past week five, but if she does, she could be one of those unlikable people who makes it far because people think they can beat her.
