‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 5 preview: ‘Playing with Fire,’ Justin Hartley, and more

Are Dom and Savi in big trouble on “Mistresses“? That is possible, but what is equally possible right now is that Alyssa Milano’s character has a case of constantly fleeing from safe situations. For a long time, her attraction to Dom was partially based out of the fact that he was this sort of forbidden fruit. Now that the relationship is out in the open, things seem to have cooled down to a pretty significant degree.

The next new episode of the show is entitled “Playing with Fire,” and given what is happening right now between her and Zack, that is certainly appropriate. Also, you’re going to see Justin Hartley without a shirt on. You’re welcome, world.

Before we do anything else, let’s go ahead and share the full synopsis below, which teases a little bit about Scott’s secret and also more problems for Dom:

“Savi’s sister and friends are concerned when her secret camaraderie with Zack reveals a devil-may-care side. Karen tries to heed April’s advice that her harmless addiction could turn dangerous. Scott makes his move with Joss, and then shares a surprising fantasy with her. A blissfully-in-love April gets some disconcerting news about Daniel. Meanwhile, Dom grapples with repercussions in the office after he and Savi come out about their relationship.”

We are starting to become more and more excited about what is happening this season, and there is only one further thing that we can hope for: This momentum to continue. We were worried in the first two weeks that this show was not going to be bringing anything new or exciting to the table, but now that we’ve seen Savi actually deal with the car accident and also some interesting stuff for April, we’re starting to get on board again.
