‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 21 preview: Kristin Kreuk in ‘Operation Fake Date’

Just how desperate are Cat and Vincent starting to become on “Beauty and the Beast“? Let’s just say that for the new episode airing on The CW next week, we are going to see Kristin Kreuk’s character do something that we never quite imagined she would think about before now: Trying to engage in some “romance” in order to get what she wants from Gabe.

The title here should be pretty obvious when it comes to what we are talking about here, but the further question has to be if Gabe is really going to buy this. He has seen how she feels around him lately, and it is hard to imagine that changing without something significant happening. You can see some more of what we’re talking about here in the synopsis below, including some news about the return of Heather after an episode off:

“Desperate to start over with Cat (Kristin Kreuk), Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) tries to woo her by taking her on a romantic date. However, she has plans of her own regarding how to save Vincent (Jay Ryan) – while also trying to plan Heather’s (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) bachelorette party.”

We have to say right now that we are really worried about the status of Heather’s wedding right now, given that we have yet to meet the guy in question, and Anderson has already been promoted to series regular for the upcoming third season. Therefore, whatever happens here is going to be something that keeps her in New York.

Overall, this does seem like a fun episode. Let’s just hope that it lives up to the standards that we have for it in our brain.
