‘Big Brother 16’ houseguest spotlight: Will Nicole Franzel’s love of the game help her?

Nicole -Nicole Franzel is one of the enigmas going into the game, at least in that she claims to be a really big fan of “Big Brother” and has watched it for much of the past 13 years, but we still cannot completely figure her out. At almost feels like she is trying to come across as nerdy with the glasses, and hoping that playing up her fandom will work out for her.

Interestingly, to us the best thing that Nicole could do is hide her knowledge in the early going, since she is non-threatening enough on every level to go very far in the game, and could then turn on the jets when nobody expects it.

Name – Nicole Franzel

Age – 21

Location – Ubly, Michigan

Occupation – Nursing graduate

Strengths – Knowing the game extremely well, and also being a relatively quiet / naive person. She could play this part of an “aw, shucks” small town girl very well, and go through the first part of the game with everyone thinking that she is just fodder. She is willing to make moves and lie to get to the end, so this could be the time for her to develop a secret alliance and start to show herself as a threat.

Weaknesses – One of her problems with playing the naive card is that she actually does seem very naive, and probably will be tricked easily. We also have no idea why she told Jeff Schroeder that she wanted to win the first Head of Household, since this could make her a target when she wouldn’t otherwise be one. We worry somewhat about her logic.

Past houseguest comparison – She really likes Ian Terry, so we would probably have to combine him with Danielle Murphree to get her. She looks a little like some other blonde “Big Brother” players, but she doesn’t act like any of them.

Prediction – There is almost no way for Nicole to leave the game early unless she just has bad luck or really does something stupid. Just if she takes a nap for six weeks, she should be there around the time jury starts. We feel like the potential is here for her to go much further than that, but she needs to feel out the house and realize that some of these people will be easy to dupe if she plays her cards right.
