‘Heroes: Reborn’: Milo Ventimiglia will not be joining Jack Coleman

Heroes -Despite the fact that its final seasons were a little bit of a mess, there is still a ton of buzz surrounding “Heroes: Reborn.” The show will be coming on NBC at some point next year as some sort of “limited series event,” and the buzz is starting to begin already over who may and may not be appearing.

You may have heard the reports recently that Jack Coleman is set to reprise his role of Noah, otherwise known as the Man with the Horn-Rimmed Glesses, for a significant portion of the episodes ahead. Unfortunately, this does not mean that every person who was a part of the show since the beginning will be turning up.

In a post on his Twitter account, Milo Ventimiglia confirmed that he will not be reprising his role as Peter Petrelli on the new show. Peter was one of the original main characters, and a guy whose powers were great enough that he could actually take on Sylar (Zachary Quinto) and some of the other threats out there in the world.

So why won’t Milo be taking part? There may be a number of reasons, but one that we know for sure is that he has a part on the new ABC series “The Whispers,” and it could be very hard for him to pull double duty on both this and a new “Heroes,” especially given that “The Whispers” is going to be shooting out of the country.

Surely there will be other original stars unable to return, as Hayden Panettiere is on “Nashville” and others have recurring TV gigs.
