‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 getting very special (and Royal?) visitor

Game of Thrones -The set of “Game of Thrones” is certainly about to become that much more regal, at least in that there will be a real ruler coming on board soon for a change.

As you may have scene on some occasion in the past week elsewhere, it is true that Queen Elizabeth II is actually going to be visiting the show’s sets in Northern Ireland later this year. We hope that she watches out given how power-hungry some of these people are for the throne, but we’re sure that everyone involved with the series’ production sees and understands what a tremendous honor this really is to have this sort of attention from the Royal Family.

We’re sure that this visit probably does not have a whole lot to do with the Queen potentially being a huge fan of the HBO series so much as it is the contributions that it has brought to all of the Belfast region. Not only does it create a myriad of new production jobs and revenue in that way, but it has made the city into much more of a tourist destination than it has been quite possibly ever to people all around the world. It is now one of the first things many think about when you hear the words “Northern Ireland,” and is comparable in some ways to what happened in New Zealand following the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

What do you think about the Queen visiting this show, or does this matter to you at all in comparison to the people who are actually appearing on the show itself? Let us know one way or the other below, and also head over here in the event that you want further news and updates pertaining to the series.
