‘Crossbones’ episode 4 preview: First look at ‘Antoinette’

Friday night’s “Crossbones” was the strongest of the entire series so far, and mostly because there was an increase in pirate action, but also at the same time a decrease when it comes to some of the standing around and waiting.

What’s also interesting going into next week’s “Antoinette” is that the lines of allegiances are now a little bit more blurry than they were before. Call Robin Thicke! No, seriously … this is going to be getting crazy. Lowe and Blackbeard did just work together in order to rescue Kate, and while Thomas should be reporting first and foremost to Jagger, there are certain events coming that could change that.

For some more on the complexities ahead, just take a look at the synopsis for the aforementioned episode:

“Having learned of Blackbeard’s plans to attack innocent civilians in Jamaica, Lowe devises a way to report back to his spymaster, William Jagger. But having done so, Lowe discovers that Jagger might be an even greater madman than the Commodore. The time has come to make a choice between two evils. Which way will he jump?”

Lowe’s allegiances will be very interesting to watch, especially when it comes to how much his relationship with some other characters could impact that further. Now that we are getting deeper into the story, we are getting closer to campaigning for this show as one everyone should watch. As long as it can keep this balance of being action-packed and fun without being silly, it is on the right track.
