‘Halt and Catch Fire’ spoilers: Will Cameron be completely pushed away?
Cameron on “Halt and Catch Fire” is one of those characters who we really want to like, but we just quite haven’t been able to figure out who she is, and how her brain completely works just yet. She’s brilliant, but also eccentric, hangs around with dodgy people, and doesn’t really care the slightest for anything that has to do with decorum.
Still, she is someone Joe, Gordon, and the rest of the team at Cardiff Electric really need to rely on to an extent to make sure that they have the code to rival IBM. So what could happen to push her away? It’s a sequence of events that, per TV Guide, can be described as follows:
- Gordon and his team make a major leap forward with their engineering work.
- However, not long after this all of this great work is railroaded by a power surge, which causes them to lose all of the work Cameron has been doing on the code.
- The team recruits someone to help get all of this work back, but this unfortunately could make Cameron not very pleased … and that is just putting it lightly.
Just in case all of this was not troublesome enough, there is also going to be a reporter in town to publish a story all about this computer … and you have to wonder whether or not that now is something that is going to happen without sinking their ship further. So far, this story has been almost problem after problem for the team. Are they ever going to catch a break?
