‘Royal Pains’ season 6 spoilers: Are Hank’s traveling days with Boris done?

Are we getting set to see a sedentary Hank on “Royal Pains” throughout the rest of season 6? If you were watching only the first few episodes of this season, we could certainly understand why you would start to feel that way. He has stuck around the Hamptons, mostly so that he can find out more when it comes to Divya’s new life as a mom, and to also uncover the mystery of Eddie’s secret daughter Emma.

While this has been nice, you do have to understandably wonder whether or not Hank is really done with that sort of jet-setting lifestyle that he got used to with Boris recently. The simple answer to that ultimately is “no.” If you enjoyed the thought of a worldly Hank, his adventures with him are going to continue through this season and will take him at times to everywhere from France to Latin America.

Speaking about all of this in a new interview with TV Guide, show co-creator Andrew Lenchewski explains that there will be a specific reason that Hank goes off with Boris, and this is not about to be some sort of willy-nilly vacation from a place that is already a vacation spot:

“Though Hank came back in the season premiere and realized the Hamptons … is where he wanted to be, he’s always going to feel an obligation and commitment to Boris … Boris has a very serious and a very noble mission that he’s on this season, and Hank wants to help him fulfill it.”

We’re personally excited by the prospects here, at least so long as they are only small jaunts that don’t take Hank away from everyone else for an extended period of time. We want to see him continually doing more of what he does best, and that includes helping rich people in need. (That sounded way cooler in our head than it does written down.)
