NBC’s ‘The Voice’ notes: Tessanne Chin’s album cover; Blake Shelton mocks Pharrell
With that in mind, we introduce the official album cover to the left for Tessanne Chin’s post-show debut (as she has done albums before the series) entitled “Count on My Love.” It’s a pretty sophisticated cover that suggests there will be soulful music inside geared mostly to the show’s largest demographic, which is the older half of the 18-49 demographic. The disc is going to be coming out on July 1, and starting tomorrow she will be joining many other former contestants from the show for a sizable tour around America.
As for something else … Take a look at the photo below for a little bit of humor courtesy of none other than Blake Shelton, who has filmed some blind auditions already for the new season with the judging panel. Basically, this is exactly what you would expect from the show, in appealing to the obvious / a lowest-common denominator. Pharrell Williams’ hat is basically one of the only things that casual fans right now really know about them, so of course the show is going to do just about everything in their power to exploit this for some cheap laughs. What better guy to do it than Blake Shelton?
