‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5: Boss on hopes to tie up ‘Ravenswood’ story

Ravenswood -We are already a pair of episodes into the fifth season of “Pretty Little Liars,” and there are still no answers out there to what we like to consider a pretty important question: Whether or not we are going to see anything from “Ravenswood” brought over from this show and resolved.

From one standpoint, we understand why ABC Family would be hesitant to do this. This spin-off show was canceled because there were not a whole lot of people watching it, so it is a hard sell to tell executives that you want to bring that story over to a popular show. At the same time, you do want to give “Ravenswood” fans some closure if they stuck it out for as long as they did.

Hopefully, there will eventually be some sort of compromise that manages to give everybody in the end a little bit of what they want. Speaking to TVLine, creator for both shows Marlene King suggested, just as she did in a recent Reddit AMA, that she would like to do an episode addressing some stories there. However, there are still questions about whether or not it will happen:

“I stay in touch with all of those people, both the kids and the adults … They know we’d love to — I don’t want to say ‘tie up’ the story — but at least give it some closure. More than we were allowed to, anyway. We were heading somewhere with that story and we want to let the fans know where that was.”

We feel like there will eventually be something put into play here, even if it is as small as just getting to see a few minutes of story about some of these characters. Having Caleb around will help, and we know that he will be making his first appearance of the season in the upcoming 100th episode.
