‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 1 video: A Stephen Moyer – Sam Trammell scene
Now that we are only mere days away from the official season 7 premiere of “True Blood,” that to us means mostly one thing: An opportunity to get to see some of the first real scenes from the episode … even if not all of them are necessarily substantial.
With that in mind, we present to you the latest sneak-peek video below, and it is hardly something that is going to stand out when it comes to just getting punched in the face with content. Instead, you have Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) trying to rally the folks in Bon Temps to head home with their vampire companions in order to ensure that the Hep-V vampires are not able to do anything to them. What’s the caveat here? Think along the lines of the fact that Bill wants to ensure that all of these vampires are properly fed by their human companions first and foremost.
This clip basically signifies the new normal for the characters this season, since there has been a structure set up for the town that seems to work. The only difficult part of this is that Sookie and Alcide have shunned the idea of having any sort of vampire protection, and therefore are going to have to find a very different sort of way to fend for themselves on this episode. Given their history with vampires and killing things, though, we are not entirely worried about their prospects for survival. They should be able to figure something out here without too much of a problem at all.
This premiere will set up what the primary conflict for the final season will be, and hopefully before the rest of the season airs we’ll learn whether or not Eric will come back to Bon Temps, and if Sookie still harbors feelings for anyone else.
