‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 2 preview: How does Callie move forward now?

The Fosters -Just when you thought that the Robert Quinn story on “The Fosters” was complicated enough, there was yet another twist that surfaced during Monday night’s new episode “Things Unknown.” Specifically, we had a chance to really find out just what these “things unknown” really were … and it came in the form of a person.

So will a potential sibling out there for Callie really change things for her? It’s possible, and the synopsis for next week’s episode “Take Me Out” certainly seems to be adding to the equation:

Brandon contemplates a big decision that could either restore or destroy his dream of playing piano, but Stef and Lena find themselves on opposite ends of the debate. The Foster siblings plot to cheer Brandon up by taking him out to see a band and he butts heads with the sexy lead singer Lou (guest star Ashley Argota). Meanwhile, Stef confronts Mike about his whereabouts the night Ana disappeared. A mysterious stranger keeps tabs on Callie, and Callie is faced with a choice that could further complicate her life. An encounter with Connor’s dad creates a rift in Jude and Connor’s friendship. And Jesus begins to feel threatened by Emma’s independent spirit.”

We’re glad to see that there is a story involving Brandon that takes him a little ways away from Callie, and that the show not wasting too much time getting into the meat of things. The different between the premiere and the finale, though, is that tonight’s episode did keep more of the essence of the show intact. Hopefully, that remains true the rest of the way.
