’30 Rock’ alum Tracy Morgan’s condition upgraded, ‘personality starting to come back’

Tracy Jordan -There is some more good news breaking tonight in regards to the condition of Tracy Morgan; the “30 Rock” star, whose odds of survival were not always so great following a brutal collision on the New Jersey Turnpike, is getting closer to recovery than he has been to date. If nothing else, it is looking like some of the old Tracy is starting to rise out of the pain and misery he has been through since first being admitted.

In a new statement, Tracy’s spokesperson Lewis Kay (who has been a reliable source of updates throughout this process) made it clear that the comic is starting to turn around, even if there is still quite a road to recovery ahead.

“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement. His personality is certainly starting to come back as well.”

Kay also added that the condition of Tracy’s assistant Jeff Millea is also improving, and his condition has been upgraded to fair, as well. This is all good news that Morgan will be able to get out of the hospital at some point in the weeks ahead, and hopefully resume his career a little later this year. He still has an upcoming series on FXX that is in the planning phases, and the network confirmed that it will be ready for him whenever he does decide to return in the future. This is a show that he will be working on in conjunction with some of the crew from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” who know a few things already about making TV hits.

Of course, we will have further updates on Tracy’s condition as they continue to come out in the coming weeks. Stay tuned, and sign up in the event that you want to get even more updates on all we cover.
