As of right now, “Bachelor in Paradise” is the grand mystery of the franchise. While it has been announced to air after Andi Dorfman’s season of “The Bachelorette,” nobody knows quite what it is other than that the intention here is to have it capture the romance of “The Bachelor” with a larger cast, but without anything else that could tie it to “Bachelor Pad.”
Well, maybe you will get a chance to find out at least a few more details tonight. In a post on Twitter, executive producer Mike Fleiss confirmed that one of the first real teases for this show will air during “The Bachelorette” Monday night. Given that the show has been filming over the past couple of weeks, this is an awfully quick turnaround. Production probably does not even know yet who is the winner or winners based on how this competition is won … or if there are even winners at all.
There is a cast list that is out there for the show right now, but also claims that three men from Andi’s season are going to join them that have not been announced just yet for spoiler purposes. Let’s hope that these are some of the larger personalities from the season, since otherwise the group of people going down to Mexico looks and feels incredibly unremarkable. Does anyone really feel that big of an interest in seeing people we barely remember from Desiree Hartsock or Juan Pablo Galavis’ seasons of the show actually find someone? We are better off passing on that.
Still, we will have some more news and information on it as it becomes available, whenever that may be. Also, be sure to sign up today to get some more cool scoop courtesy of our CarterMatt Newsletter. These arrive every Sunday.
