‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 video: See Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien in new opening

Few shows get the same sort of excitement around their opening sequence that “Teen Wolf” does, and we imagine that one of the main reasons for that is just because it gives each of its main cast members their own little focus during the sequence. It’s intense, exciting, and typically contains at least one guy without a shirt one. We always know that people enjoy that.

This latest opening sequence certainly does not disappoint, even if it does feel like Crystal Reed’s absence from the show is probably felt here even more than it has been in just about any medium before. It’s strange not having her name on there, even if we are pleased to see Arden Cho as more of a permanent member of the show.

Also, it is nice to see the way in which Dylan O’Brien is shown here with his board full of names and data; it almost makes him feel like the spiritual cousin to Molly from “Fargo” or Carrie from “Homeland.” Also, it is a nice little reminder that the Evil Stiles story is seemingly buried for now (and we could not be happier for that). This has us intrigued for the season ahead, which includes everything from a greater focus on Latin-American mythology to some new characters, the return of Kate Argent, and the mysterious entity right now known simply as “The Benefactor.” We are going to have to see just what this bad man brings to the table.
