‘Sing Your Face Off’: Where Lisa Rinna, Landry Fields, and Carmen Electra meet
We’ve been covering ABC’s new “singing competition” “Sing Your Face Off” for each of the past two Saturdays, and so far the only way to describe it is “ridiculous.” We cannot even say that we are hate-watching it, because there is something so odd about watching a basketball player like Landry Fields twerk as Nicki Minaj that is entertaining beyond words. We don’t understand it, and it is probably better that we never do.
It may take a little longer for us to have up our full review this weekend than it did the past two episodes, so we figured that we would at least give you a taste in advance of some of the insanity that seems to be coming up.
- The two guest judges tonight are Tom Arnold and Carmen Electra, who both seem to be perfect given that the permanent judges are Debbie Gibson and Darrell Hammond.
- At some point, you will see Landry wear Hammer pants.
- Lisa Rinna will probably make some even further-out-there comparison between China Anne McClain and some of the biggest start who have ever lived on planet earth.
- China will probably continue her tradition of dominating the scoreboard, mostly because we have no real belief that anyone else is going to be able to get it together to a big enough degree.
In the end, just don’t try to take anything too seriously with this. There’s no way that any of these people are going to find global stardom thanks to this. The only thing that we are currently lamenting is that Richard Simmons is not a judge every week, and we cannot embrace that sort of insanity on a regular basis.
