‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 19 video: First look at Heather’s return

Monday night’s “Beauty and the Beast” should be a fun one for many, and largely because of the fact that you are going to see a character who has not surfaced on the show in a while: Heather!

So why is she back? While it is not confirmed in the sneak peek below from “Cold Case,” the information that is out there right now strongly suggests that it is tied in some way her being engaged. Later this season, after all, Cat has to juggle a bachelorette party with a million or so other things that are going on in her life. (Let’s face it: It’s never a really good time for her to have company.)

Even in this very meeting of the two again, Cat is quick to make an excuse to leave her behind, saying that she has laundry to do … on the roof. Given that Kristin Kreuk’s character is a detective and known for keeping secrets, you would think that she would have something at least a little more mysterious and coy at her disposal than this. Alas, it does not appear to be the case.

As for what else she has to deal with, think along the lines of Gabe coming up with a plan to try to force Vincent to flush himself out by potentially putting the careers of Cat and Tess in jeopardy. He knows what the beast cares about more than anything else, and this will remain a big priority.
