‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: More hints on Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric
We’re trying to be coy with most of our Eric Northman information right now for “True Blood” season 7, and there is one major reason for that: The twist that keeps him around on the show this year is meant to be a big surprise. All that has been confirmed publicly (at least at this point) is that Alexander Skarsgard is still a series regular, and is likely not going anywhere.
While we are not going to be able to tell you (and nor would we want to) whether or not Eric is going to be around for the entire season, at least one of the people he works with for much of the season should not be too great of a surprise at all. For evidence of that, just look at some of the events at the end of season 6. This story will help to make Eric’s story feel more like it did in the earlier seasons, and not where he was so wrapped up in Sookie’s world every second of the day.
In case you missed it earlier this month, Alex gave a pretty substantial hint as to how his character may have managed to survive being burned to death by the sun. Here’s what he had to say on the subjects to TV Guide:
“He’s surrounded by a lot of wet snow … That might give you a hint [about Eric’s fate]. The environment of northern Sweden helps him quite a bit.”
Don’t expect the show to spend a whole lot of time dwelling on how Eric manages to make it through this, though. There are only ten episodes of this final season, and there is quite a bit of action that is therefore going to be crammed in.

im not rooting for anyone in particular but will clarify. Pam is a lesbian always has been, she ran a whore house as a human eric helped her and asked for her services when she said he could have anyone free. now she admired him and there was love there no doubt and with vampires that could translate many ways including sexually. it would make sense that they end up in each others company she will always stand by him. but i would not classify them as a couple anymore than i would classify them as father daughter. eric and godric”s montra sum it up well, father, brother, son….whatever is needed in their relationship. Eric did fall in love with sookie, but she did cut both him and bill out she choose the werewolf whether that stays or not we will see

Actually, Pam is omnisexual. Perhaps on the show she leans toward one identity but in the books, Pam had an interest in most anyone who seemed interesting to her. Not many did.

No surprise, he is going to be painted as the bad guy. So that Bill in all his douchey glory can be the good guy and get the moron. Alex will be seen for a minute in episode two boning Jason yawwwwwn. Then in episode three Pam will be trying to motivate him. If they try to push him and her on us as a couple puke time ………. completely unbelievable, no chemistry at all, na da. He will be seen very little, and will always be away from sooka but with Pam. The season is going to reek. But Moyer will have gotten his way.

Congrats on being the only person in the world that thinks Eric and Pam don’t have chemistry. Maybe you should just not watch since you obviously haven’t been paying attention all along.

Get a grip, they are perfect as father and daughter, that is it. There is no sexual nothing there. LOLOL all of you Pam shippers would have her with anyone as long as you got to see her .. As for paying attention I am not the only one who feels like this, but am one to voice my opinion about it. Oh no doubt they will push it, and like I said you Pam pushers will watch. Shame he had more chemistry with Nora.

Um, no? “Pam Shippers”? We want to see Pam with Eric and Eric alone because that is the only way we’ll see our favorite characters have a shred of happiness. Both of them. You make absolutely no sense.
Also, it’s kind of disturbing to try to say they’re only father and daughter since they’ve not only shown us them making out and lying in bed together after having sex, both actors have confirmed that they play the characters as a couple that have had a long-standing sexual relationship. People like you that insist they are father/daughter only succeed in making yourselves look like weirdos, because that is NOT a father/daughter relationship where I come from. It’s a part of their relationship, yes; but only a part; the maker/progeny connection is entirely too complex for you to try to simplify it in such a way, and to say “that’s it” when they have in fact had sex…kind of gross, man. Like I said, you clearly don’t pay attention to what they’ve been showing us for six years.
Can we hope that you going to quit watching the show and adding your two cents to every post you see when (not if) they “push” this century long, complex, beautiful, loving relationship on you? Asking for the entire fandom because you are a laughing stock with your wacko theories and character/ship hate.

LOLOLOLOL omg you are so full of yourself.

YOU calling someone delusional is a riot, omg.
Call me what you like…like I said, both Alex and Kristin have said they play the characters as if they had been sexually involved for a century. I didn’t say that, they did. It is a conscious choice. And it transfers on screen as that chemistry you don’t think exists.
It will work because people will be happy about it, excluding a very small minority like yourself. They are the fan favorites, and they’ve spent years showing us over and over that Pam is in love with him, and that she’s the only person who cares about him. Just because you don’t want to see it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
I’m ‘full of myself’ because I’m right and the things I’m saying are backed up by facts on both the show and off of it. Unlike you who spreads rumors about the actors relationships with each other, when you clearly have no idea what you’re talking about. And you call me delusional, lol.

The ONLY time you saw them as a sexual couple was when he made her. You are delusional, as I had thought. Like I said they will push it, just to shut certain fandoms up. It will work no doubt. Snort.

yeah they are totes playing a couple but oops Eric just fell in love with Sookie in the meantime LOL
Also they didn’t have ‘a sexual relationship’ through the century because – according to K.Bauer- Eric and Pam had sex ONCE – before he turned her.

Have you heard of context? That comment was made when she was talking about Anna picking on her, and she was referring to having sex ON SCREEN. According to Kristin, they played it as a couple that were, quote, “pretty hot and heavy for a century”. You Sooric shippers just hear what you want to hear, it’s so cute.
Too bad Sookie doesn’t even LIKE him, much less love him back, and too bad Alex said there is ‘no one he loves more than Pam’, so much for your comeback :) I, for one, am an actual Eric fan and I want to see him happy, not treated like dogsh*t, which is what Sookie treats him like. Eric deserves happiness, and that’s not happening with Sookie, it’s happening with Pam, who is the only person who deserves him. Y’all can LOL all you want, but it’s still going to happen, so I guess the last LOL will be mine in the end :)
