When could ‘The Originals’ season 2, ‘Supernatural’ season 10 premiere?

We know that there are some articles out there that routinely put the words “premiere date” in the title, but more often than not some of these do not contain any real information at all about when the shows could actually start back.

We want to do our part to change that as much as we can with this story, as we’ll try our best to figure out when shows like “The Originals,” “Arrow,” “Supernatural,” and “The Vampire Diaries” could be make on the air for more. The best place to go for evidence of this? The schedules for the season prior. “The Originals” was a special case last year because it premiered in a different timeslot than it aired the rest of the season, but “Supernatural” season 9 premiered on October 8, the third Tuesday of the fall season. The CW has chosen to wait two weeks before airing new episodes of most of their shows, largely so that there are fewer repeats during the season, and more young viewers are back inside rather than out doing things.

With all of this information in mind, the week of October 8 should be the one to watch, pending something crazy or new happening. “The Originals” should premiere on that day, and following by “Supernatural” and “The Flash” the next. “Arrow” should start on October 10, and we imagine the rest of the season carrying on like this. There is no real reason to shake up the formula too much, given that the network has improved its trajectory somewhat in the past two years. Whether or not this has anything to do with it, though, is certainly debatable.
