‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: Is Gabe going to still try to win back Cat?

Catch Me -

While there have been times as of late when it comes to “Beauty and the Beast” that we have started to wonder if Gabe has completely given up the ghost when it comes to his feelings for Cat, we’ve now got an answer to that :Somehow, the guy is still holding on to something. Maybe he’s that delusional, or maybe he is trying to play her in the same way that she is trying to play him.

Either way, the penultimate episode of the season looks to be a fun one. The title here is “Operation Fake Date,” and per the official synopsis, the two are going to be spending some time each other … but there will be some other motives also involved in here:

“Desperate to start over with Cat (Kristin Kreuk), Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) tries to woo her by taking her on a romantic date. However, she has plans of her own regarding how to save Vincent (Jay Ryan) – while also trying to plan Heather’s (guest star Nicole Gale Anderson) bachelorette party.”

It’s nice to also get in here a few more details regarding why Heather is still going to be a part of the show after her first appearance on Monday, and this in turn helps to set up Anderson becoming a series regular for season 3. Regardless of what happens with her upcoming wedding, it looks like she will be sticking around.

As for Gabe, we still wonder whether or not we will be seeing more of him next season. He is a capable adversary, but what happens when you get to a point when there is no story left to tell?
