‘The X Factor’ UK officially confirms Mel B as new judge
In confirming the news that she has signed on, Mel said the following about her judging style, and her hopes of helping to uncover the next big talent:
“I’ve always thought honesty is the best policy when being a judge and that’s what I’m going to bring more of this year — whether it’s spotting an incredible singer, giving someone a reality check or debating with Simon over who’s got it wrong! Now I can’t wait to get started and find some amazing talent.”
At this moment, Mel may officially be the busiest judge in reality TV. She was a part of the most-recent kids edition of “The Voice” Australia, and she is currently a part of “America’s Got Talent.” This gig is going to require more travel from her, but the two shows are scheduled in a way where she should theoretically be able to jump from one show to the other without too much interference or a problem.
She joins on the panel for this year Simon along with Cheryl Cole (returning after a few seasons off) and Louis Walsh, the only onscreen personality to have been a part of the series since the bery beginning.
Are you happy to see that Mel is a judge, or would you really at this point rather have somebody who is actually new to the franchise and could be a different voice?
