ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Emily VanCamp and a new onscreen partner?

Ready for some more “Revenge” romance scoop? Well even though you would think that the door would be somewhat open for an Emily / Jack pairing at some point in the future, that may not be a sure thing based on what we are hearing now.

According to a new report from TVLine, the ABC series is currently casting a new man for Emily VanCamp’s character, and one who boasts such attributes as being good-looking, intelligent, but also still mysterious and with a past we will be interested in knowing more about.

But with anyone in this situation, what we find ourselves wondering is whether or not this is someone we should trust, or even really want to. He could always be connected in some way to what is going on with David Clarke, and that big reveal we had at the end of the third season. Or, he could be completely new. The interesting thing now is that with some other stories seemingly tied up for now, we have more opportunities now that will open the door for new storylines, drama, romance, and other things.

As for those of you who are worried about whether or not this means that Emily and Jack are over before they truly begin, we wouldn’t worry. The relationship here has been lingering for some time, and it may continue to linger a while longer. Who knows? Maybe this could be the sort of relationship that pushes the two to be together in the end.
