‘Royal Pains’ season 5, episode 2 preview: Who is Emma?

Tonight’s “Royal Pains” was for more the most part an introduction to some of the show’s new normal, whether you are talking about Hank getting back to the Hamptons after some traveling with Boris, or Divya adjusting to life as a mother. The show was structured in a way that you had a chance to see both the past and the present for the character, which was a nice touch.

The end of the episode, though, may be what many will be talking about for some time courtesy of one simple question: Who in the world is Emma? She showed up sniffing around Divya’s party lying up a scene, but she eventually admitted that she was there for her father.

Given that the title of next week’s episode was “Uncle Hank,” odds are that we’ve just figured out who her father really is … maybe. This could just be the show trolling us in some capacity. After all, Eddie (Henry WInkler) also turns up and acts like he has seen Emma’s face before. We’re not going to take the title as fact, mostly because there is probably more to this story then we know right now.

For now, our suggestion to get some basic information is taking a look at the episode’s synopsis below:

“Hank worries about a tennis star’s health; Hank and Evan adjust to the revelation; Jeremiah finds peace.”

Regardless of who this character is, we’re mostly excited about this inclusion given that she doesn’t look like someone who is going to upset the apple cart.
