’24: Live Another Day’ episode 8 preview: The ‘unthinkable’ in the 200th episode
Given that it is so easy to think of “24: Live Another Day” as a separate entity in the franchise, there is probably one element of this that gets a little bit lost: The fact that next week’s installment actually marks the 200th edition of the franchise.
At the end of the episode tonight (read the full review here), President Heller called up Margot to try to talk things out in a negotiation. If he turned himself over to her, he asked in turn that she call off her plans to kill hundreds of thousand to people. With all of this being said, though, he never actually made it clear just what he was going to do.
We have to believe that this is something that will be front and center for the story next week, along with the Jordan Reed story and Kate Morgan’s own plans. Take a look at the full synopsis below:
“Jack Bauer and President Heller endure the unthinkable to thwart the terror attacks of mastermind Margot Al-Harazi (guest star Michelle Fairley). Meanwhile, CIA agent Jordan Reed faces a life-or-death struggle and Kate takes drastic measures to track down Margot before it’s too late.”
Here is the strangest thing about this synopsis to us: Why in the world is Farley listed as a guest star for this show? Given that she has been a part of every episode of the show, why doesn’t she get regular billing? We do have a theory about that, but we’re going to keep it to ourselves for now to keep from inciting an internet panic.
Ultimately, this episode just feels like more of the same if you love “24,” and we cannot wait to see what happens next. If you want some further updates now on this show and so much more, race over to the link here!
